The Office of National Statistics confirm that electricity prices have risen

The Office of National Statistics confirm that electricity prices have risen by 66.7% and gas prices by 129.4% in the 12 months to March 23.

With this statistic in mind it comes as no surprise that solar installations, according to MCS, have doubled in 2022 compared to 2021. In January 2023 15,000 solar installations were connected to the grid.

Don’t be put off by our cloudy, and often rainy days, as the UK produce solar power very well, comparable to Germany, parts of France and even Spain.

Installing the right batteries also ensures that energy captured during the day can be stored for release at night or other days. Surplus energy can also be sent back to the National Grid for which you will get paid for.

Payback for your solar installation is shorter now than it’s ever been and without knowing what the future might bring there’s never been a better time to invest. Even better, get your solar panel output to power your air source heat pump.
